A Love Letter from the Editor
Dear Messengers,
At this moment, I remember many things, the rush of a strange new idea, fingers red from the overzealous slice of a rotary blade, and the awe at scraps once stuffed in shoeboxes revived into their new life.
A new life.
Lately, I have given much thought to new lives. And to that call that beckons us towards reinvention. If there is any truth to the law of attraction, perhaps you, too, have been contemplating a new life. Maybe your new life has recently started, has begun to bear fruit, or is near enough that you sense it in your soul.
Whatever the case, I hope with all my heart that what you read and see here emboldens you just the same.
I will not pretend that anything I present came from a perfectly formed vision, a wholly confident point of view, or a master of any kind, but that is just the point. What I can say is that these creations are an honest answer to my own call for revolution. I believe that one must honor the purpose planted in their soul according to the values that have grown in their heart.
And I have dedicated myself fully to live by those beliefs.
So, from my desk to your spirit, I lovingly extend these garments, words, and images as an offering to the gods of your own revolutions: your explorer, your warrior, and your eternally youthful inner muse. May they strengthen your resolve as you leap over caverns, blow wind at your back as you summit your mountains, and reveal the way through forests too dense to see beyond the trees.
Faithfully,
